he felt that the horns and funky sound of the song complement the story of Joseph Joestar and his battle against the Pillar Men Esidisi, Wamuu, and Kars, further mesmerizing him and drawing him into a "bizarre world"

The single was sold in over 21 thousand copies in its first week after being published.

On the Oricon's Weekly Album Charts, it reached the 4th position.

On Billboard's Japan Hot 100, it reached the seventh position, while peaking at third place on the Japan Hot Single Sales chart.

The song’s best performance was on the Japan Hot Animation chart where it reached second place.

Bloody Stream is a beautiful 4 minutes and 21 seconds long j-pop song, which was published by Warner Home Video.
